They wouldn't say it, but some players will be distracted during these lengthy meetings.
Guilbert and Sanson probably felt it wasn't worth their time, and Ings, being experienced, didn't believe he needed to learn the game any longer.
Ings has recently married, so he will be under more pressure to be at home more frequently, in addition to taking care of the baby.
Good luck to all three, but if they don't want to learn Emery's tactics, they won't be suited.

That entire post is libel and you should cease bringing these gnarly rumors about.

Go cool down.

I think Libel is a bit strong, Fantasy prone perhaps?

I think you're missing the point.

Guilbert and Sanson were moved on because, rather than listen to Emery's lengthy meetings, they were both addicted to trading players on FIFA Ultimate Team.

Sanson was known throughout the club to be only a handful of players short of completing his squad of silver rated Croatian players, whilst Guilbert was obsessed by buying up every single bronze Brazilian goalkeeper and then pushing them onto the market at a huge mark-up.

Evidently, they valued the time spent FUT trading over that spent watching ipad footage of EL Mastero's tactical demands and had to be moved on.

Ings has recently become a keen gardener and felt that the south coast warmer temperature would help him fulfill his dream of owning an olive grove, and thus moved to Southampton.

John McGinn was the victim of a practical joke whilst on his stag trip to Dublin, as his friends crated him up and sent him back to Bodymoor Heath. Unfortunately, they chose Yodel to deliver, and they have been unable to lift the crate high enough to chuck it over the training ground wall. Emery is furious at the growing pile of 'we tried to deliver' cards with nothing written on.

Seems unlikely, I don't think Yodel do pick-ups in the Republic of Ireland.

Moderators.
I certainly didn't mean to offend any of the players or readers with my theory so please delete it if not apportioned to the thread and discussion of what Emery wants in his squad.

Well I can certainly see those antics happening with McGinn however its since come to light he was having a nice time away with his fiancée though why he feels need to get on a plane to do so when hes injured maybe wasnt the best but thats done now and McGinn had been improving before his fatigue led him to being injured he's now only got quite the task to get back in the starting 11 let alone captain.

Think you're misinformed mate, Ings has gone to West Ham, they threw in Arthur Fowler's old allotment to push the deal through.

That's good news, it's gone to pot since he passed away in November.

Guilbert and Sanson were moved on because…

It was felt that they were spending too much time writing operettas and neglecting training.
