Ignoring the headline, but this shows that we're not giving up many chances and the ones that we are giving up are poorer than most.

Makes the suggestions that our defending is shit to be a little wide of the mark I think.

I was not convinced that he had solved the problems of the last few months and today confirmed this. The decisions today from when we scored lacked cohesion.
No idea what we were trying to do.

How can he not fix the defence? Kamara back and in great form, the "world's number one" in goal, a £50m defensive midfielder on the bench, and it's still like Laurel and hardy at the back. It's getting beyond a joke.

There is a lack of leadership on the pitch, particularly those defenders, they all seem a bit quiet.

And this is what Mings gives us. He is a natural leader and badly missed.

He has in the past and hope he can do so in the future.

Next three games will tell us a lot. Very difficult, we are going to have to be much better.

Was it the defence issues that got him the boot at Arsenal ? I'm not aware of what his ultimate downfall was there

I believe it was their entitled fan base who ridiculed him at every opportunity. As bad as our defence is there’s not a chance in hell I’d even remotely think about Emery not being our manager.

"Only" taking then from sixth to fifth in the league and to a European final in his one season.

Do you reckon that we’ll see Kamara and Onana together in the middle once the latter is ready to start and that will give us a more solid midfield in front of the defence?
I’d like to see that and Tielemans a bit further forward, make it a bit more difficult for the oppo’ to play through us.

Opponents aren't playing through us though. Get the ball in behind our defence and they are at sea.

We're signing to many players who are having minimal impact on the team. How many of these players have been signed by Unai over the last 4 windows?

Only Rogers . The rest are questionable. Onana £50m ??? Maatsen £36m ???? They look like poor signings so far at the money .

Our business with Chelsea and Everton last summer was centered around PSR, I wouldn't have too much faith in any of those reported fees. I think it would be fair to say we need more impact from both those players in the second half of the season. Very little unfortunately from the return of Ramsey, Mings and Buendia either, should have been like three new signings.
