Apologies if this has already been covered but why are we playing this on a Thursday night? And why is Brentford on Sunday?

I think because Amazon have the rights to this round of midweek games and like to spread them out over three days. Then the Brentford game is on Sunday so we have the required minimum gap between games. Of course, Brentford play a day earlier than us so will have an advantage. Not that they need it.

2-0 to us and I really hope Archer plays and scores at least one.

I think we'll win and he'll get a stay of execution. I also think we'll beat Brentford.

Very interesting game of football awaits! you could have a situation where the players might know he's going therefore down tools, but on the other hand we've created quite a few chances/half chances in the last five fixtures, we could be due to give someone a good hiding, one of those games where everything they touch just rockets in.

2-0 to Fulham.

They get an early goal and we spend the rest of the match having quite a lot of the ball without ever really looking like scoring. They then get a late goal to seal it

This is exactly how I see it going. Maybe we’ll even gift them a goal. Maybe a goalkeeping mistake or a penalty. Something to make our own job harder. Typical.

I think we get a point or a win to keep this whole merry go round going for a bt longer

If we win, it would seem apt then to serenade our Stevie with a song from Carousel.

Why would it suddenly be different to the vast majority of the previous 35 games? A disjointed away performance, probably speckled with the odd missed chance or two that Gerrard clings to and another away defeat.

I'll have to try and glance down and watch this on my phone while listening to a playback of Dexy's Too Rye Ay at the Royal Albert Hall with Kevin Rowland doing a Q&A after.

If he starts taking the piss about the Villa, at least Wolves are giving us plenty of ammo this season to fling back at them.

They're beating Palace 1-0 at the moment

In fairness, you'd need to have a really shit manager to lose to Palace.
