As a performance though, this is utter, complete shit. Anyone defending Gerrard for this team and style is on the wind up for a bit of fun. There is no defence. Not one clear cut chance in that half. Tripe.

Archer on for the completely ineffective Watkins at HT? Nah.

Or play them together?

Taking Coutinho or Buendia off?

I’m with Ozzjim, taking Phil off.

I don't know what's slower, our build up play or the H&V servers.

Unless either side score, my prediction is he'll bring on Ings for Buendia after 65 mins.

Fucking awful half, created very little, again playing in treacle. The only times we looked dangerous was when we moved the ball quickly.

Buendia, yet again, doing nothing to prove he should start more often.
Watkins working hard but looks totally out of form, Gerrard is damaging him by not making a change at this point.
Coutinho just not in the game at all.

More generally Buendia, Coutinho and Ramsey are all playing far too deep.

I'd take Coutinho, McGinn and Watkins off for Ings, Archer and Dendonkcer, go 4231 with Archer and Ramsey either side of Emi2 behind Ings and trying to get into the box and Dendoncker sitting deep with Luiz.

As we seem to be playing eye bleedingly bad football like Burnley we might as well go the whole hog and get Dyche in.

Bet 365 have just given 8/1 on Watkins to score the next goal. Even they think he’s shite.

Is this song new? I don't remember it from previous visits to the City Ground. Maybe I was always late.
