A nice easy 0-3 walk in the park please, Villa.

I'd happily take a professional, relatively stress free 1-0 win.
Does that exist?

Terrible team selection. Once again Steven mixing his arrogance with naive selection. This will not end well.
Arrogant and naive?  He’s just picked a team from the players we have fit.  How is that arrogant and naive?

It's the best 11 he could pick imo, whether it's been coached well enough is another matter. We should be beating these pretty comfortably though.

I allow myself to relax slightly when we go 3 goals up, never before. At 2-0 up against Wolves I was slightly tempted to post 'are we still meant to be minding the gap?' but decided not to. Perhaps it was my pessimism that infected the team.

Would look better with claret shorts, IMO. Gerrard out.

I'll go 27 minutes for the full back injury.

I didn't realise Grabban and Lolley had left.

Sydney FC where Lolley is now is also the answer to the question that nobody asked of "where is Jack Rodwell these days?"

Another player I had forgotten about.

Ollie's attempts to control the ball are so poor

We've been much the better team so far.

Watching in a bar in Cairo with my Chelsea supporting Jordanian mate. Hoping for a big win as have been rubbed all week about supporting Villa by Liverpool and Man Utd supporting Egyptians.

I think I'm right in saying Nigel Spinx made his debut at Forest.

At Forest it would more likely have been Trent Alexandria Arnold.

We really can't be trying to play long floated balls against these, it's the tactic their central defenders are best suited to, round or through them and rely on Watkins having the pace to hurt them.
