I saw a stat a while ago that last season he was something like the joint 6th highest scoring striker in the PL if you didn't include penalties. As has been said, these days, more often than not it's about midfielders and wide attackers scoring. The problem we have is that no one else is scoring either. After 8 league games no one has scored more than 1 goal for us, which is shit.

Yep, our lack of goals is a team wide issue not all on his shoulders, which is why I put it down to tactics more than anything else.

Not speaking in hindsight as it was commented on many times on here, but as last season went on it became increasingly apparent that we needed more quality in the final third.  Even if we were to change formation now, we have no real wide players apart from Bailey, who is flattering to deceive.

Given we're now a "Paul Lambert's Aston Villa" tribute act, I guess a 0-0 or 1-1 draw (if we're lucky) followed by some nonsense about how the lossless streak continues.

We will win 3-0 and the Villa fans will all be singing in unison "Stevie G's Claret and Blue Army"

Forest have done a deep dive on the season so far, this has become a must win game for their manager and some of their players.
If you could pick a team that you would want as your next home game on a cold Monday Night in front of the cameras..........

We're favourites to win and we should. IF we do, then we'll be unbeaten in 4 and probably top half. I'd then want to start to see some better football, starting against Chelsea at home. They haven't been great and have a new manager finding his feet. A draw at least should be possible there.

Not only we should win but need a performance to show we really have 'turned a corner'. Forest are awful and with our team we should be winning this.

I don't think they are that bad.

I don't think they are that bad.

They’re bottom on the league, have lost 5 in a row and have a -15 goal difference after 8 games. They’re as bad as anything we’re likely to face this season.

They remind me of us in when we came up a lot, they don't look a bad team but just give up loads of chances to the opposition, but they haven't got a Grealish.

We should do them comfortably, but I just don't think we will.
