I’d rather watch a waste pipe on a Devon beach.

Great to get three points, but it's just delaying the inevitable.

Awful match, piss poor performance, all Gerrard's fundamental problems in evidence.

Another season of flirting with relegation unless something changes.

I can't see him changing though.

We play such terrible, terrible football - Bruce level bad.

Yep, nothings changed with that, all of the bad things we've seen for the 17-18 games, no tempo, very little control, creating nothing in open play.

Anyway, Mings motm for me, completely nullified their front line and meant we were never really at any risk of conceding.

Awful.
The most anonymous debut by a player I have ever seen, Dendionker take a bow.
I know - I can’t remember a single thing he did

I've already forgot pretty much everything that happened. Felt like a 40 hour week in a mind sapping job watching that. Fair play to Southampton for managing to being even more boring than us.

Get rid of him and his entourage.
Ridiculous team selection, tactics and game management.
Shit.
As someone said it papers over the cracks.

A vital 3 points before the international break, onwards and upwards.

Because he did fuck all.
We have had our pants pulled down.
Whenever I watched Wolves all I remember him doing was kicking people.

It could be worse, we could be Southampton fans with a 3 hour journey home after that shit.

The way we play is embarrassingly poor to watch.

Sack him. Fucking terrible.

A long cold, hard winter otherwise, with games like this to look forward to? No fucking thanks.
I know right, it’s almost as if the other teams we play are trying to make us lose.

Every time I see the bench there are at least 2 or 3 people I've never seen before. Who the fuck are they? And there's another long haired guy mooching about. Who he?

Positives: we won, pick up three points, kept a clean sheet, Mings was great, Coutinho played quite well.  We had a couple of spells where we played nicely.

Negatives:  Shapeless shit, super boring, too lax in possession, passing was dire, McGinn great/awful in equal measure, it's very, very boring to watch and we are not getting the best out of the players.  Sloppy football.

Have we moved forward since Dean was sacked?
