I hope he starts with the following:

              Martinez

Young     Konsa     Mings    Digne

Luiz         Kamara      Ramsey

Bailey       Watkins     Couthinho

Get after Leicester from the off. Bring on the likes of Dedoncker to protect the lead when we're 3-0 up.

It's the likely selection but I don't think we should be moving Ramsey too far from Watkins.

If we switched to 4231 it would give us a lot more options. 3 man midfield might suit Luiz but Kamara, Ramsey and McGinn are all struggling with it. Can't drop Luiz after his decent display v Citeh, nor Bailey after he scored. Also gives us the option of playing Coutinho or Buendia at 10.

Same back 5
-------Luiz, Kamara,
Bailey, Coutinho/Buendia, Ramsey
----------Watkins

Following the training videos online, the following were not spotted training yesterday ;
On top of Carlos, Guilbert, Cash, Digne, Mings, Buendia and Archer were all missing !

That will significantly change selections above if not available Saturday
Club just tweeted, Josh Feeney and Tommi O’REILY both included in first team training this week too

If those players who missed training aren't fit to play this weekend that's going to be serious disruption to our defence, regardless of what some may think of the individuals concerned. That's 75% of our most recent back four potentially missing.
In fact, if you count Carlos as someone who would have played if fit it's even worse.

A team I would have liked to see for certain games:

                          Martinez

Young      Chambers  Mings      Digne

                    Donks        Kamara

                          Buendia/Luiz

    KKH                                           Bailey

                           Watkins

Prince William wouldn't allow it, surely?

I bet they take the chance during break in football to sack Rodgers. Hopefully the rescheduling will mean we avoid the new manager bounce.
