According to Sky if he resigns he has to pay them money.  Not sure how that works.

Maybe they put that clause in to stop him legging it once a better offer came along, like he did to go there. The only problem is you're bollocksed once you want shot of him.

Never been a fan of Rogers, just gives off that air of loving himself a bit too much.

I guess it makes sense if he's on a big contract. Good work by Leicester, apart from them now being fucked up as they want him gone, he wants to go and nobody dare pull the trigger.

Not sure why they haven't had a Protected Conversation yet, unless they have and can't agree. Anyway, the longer it goes on, the better for us.

That's probably the same for any manager - you resign you pay up your contract (or the club that poaches you does).

The fact that even after selling Fofana for £70m they can't afford to bin him is crazy. Hope they wait until after the weekend to make a decision.

Quite happy to advise him on the Settlement Agreement , especially on a percentage fee basis!

Maybe him and Stevie can do a job swap til the end of the season and we can all sit down in May and decide what we'd all like going forward.

I'd take that. He did really good things with that team when they were actually prepared to back him financially - played excellent football and picked up a lot of points.

Bit of a Brent, but a very good coach IMO.

Yep, that's the main reason I wouldn't want him, whatever his ability he's just not likeable. For someone truly exceptional I think you might hold your nose and live with it, but not someone with such a mixed record.

I don't think it's fair to call his record 'mixed', he's had relative success at every club as far as I can tell. He went closer to winning the league at Liverpool than anyone had since their heyday until Klopp.

I agree he comes across as a prick though, and gives the impression that if he was made of chocolate he'd eat himself.

That self-loving thing is thrown at him a lot (as it was with Pardew) but I haven't noticed him being particularly like that over the years. What has he said/done?

A win would be great, but it's the performance I'm most interested in.

A tough game that we'll underestimate at our cost.

Very true. Despite having 5 put past them I thought Leicester looked half decent at the weekend, not half as crap as I was hoping for. The defence and keeper are their weak links but we're hardly a free scoring team so they shouldn't worry too much. Time for Ollie to start demonstrating he remembers where the back of the net is.
