Souness is pathetic, commenting on the Walker chance and instead of pointing out that we let Walker run uncontested he comments on Mings as the 'problem'.

Luiz has played very well - in the right system, he and Kamara can thrive.

McGinn though remains poor - lots of huff and puff but anonymous really and that’s not what you want from your captain.

I think SG’s pre match speech was along the lines of ‘come on lads, I’m going to get the push if we don’t play well today’…shows how much they are not behind him
For hod sake give it a rest and actually support the team. It’s bloody boring hearing it now
I actually always back them, so your comment is totally unplaced..tongue-in-cheek remark meant in jest..keep up
Yeah hilarious. We all hate Gerrard  save it for the Gerrard Out thread and actually support “ your” team
Wind yer neck in
I’m sick of it   Keyboard warriors with daft “funny” comments  yes. We get it  you don’t like Gerrard   If your a fan  then support the team  if you want to make daft comments about Gerrard go to the Gerrard Out thread where there are numerous other similar comments

Agreed. He has a real problem with Mings though no where near the problem Benfica fans had with his complete lack of tactics.

He dosen't like Mings at all, apparently he called him out on some conference call Sky did with captains about taking the knee or something so since then it's been endless digs by Souness in paper and radio even though Mings has played well this season.

Would just ignore dinosaur pundits like Souness, he was claiming the other week he dosen't know Gerrard very well so can't offer much of an opinion on him!!

It literally makes no difference to how we're playing. Imagine getting worked up over that.

Would Luiz, Dendoncker and Kamara work going forwards as the midfield?

Allan mate you can still support the villa and think the managers a prick. We could also say support your team and not post on a match thread whilst your team is playing. We are all a big happy if fucked up family on here and the match thread reads often like a psychotherapy session. It’s what makes this site great.

Plus if we do lose we have already blamed stubbsy :)

Much better last 10, let’s build on the second half, stay tight first ten but believe in ourselves more going forward. They were making mistakes. Just need to make our changes at the right time. Come on lads..UTV

In the short term him and Kamara must be the double pivot infront of the back 4 in every game. Then you rotate between Dendoncker/McGinn/Ramsey further advanced depending on opposition.
