If anybody has a little river/brook to share I'd be more than delighted.

Exactly this

I thought we were playing with 10 but then I spotted JJ trotting off for his halftime Bovril.

It takes some going to be outgrafted by Douglas Luiz in our midfield.

Maybe play permanently as a counter-attacking team, strategy wise? Seems to work for Everton LOL!

Very respectable first half against this bunch of mercenaries. Keep it up second half Villa!

This isn't meant to sound negative but after that hard fought first half, the most Villa thing ever would be to conceded inside the first three minutes of the second half and totally collapse.

That sounds negative.

Were working very hard. I hate this fixture though because as brilliant as there play is, its also boring as fuck. I've found myself constantly drifting off.

Mings, Young and Luiz have had a really good half, Kamara just does his job really well when we have some shape and Ramsey is looking much more like himself but we need to get him and Bailey into the game more.

15/16 revisited continues, solid 0-0 like we got in Garde's first game....

Ramsey losing possession a fair bit. I'd take him off second half.

Good half. Still a long way to go. I'll start to believe when the board goes up for added time and we're not losing.

Go for the jugular second half, smash these tramps off the park.

For who tho, he's the only one with any physical strength in that 3

Very solid, hard working first half. He hasn't lost the dressing room yet judging by that. The blame is laid squarely at strange tactics then. Young looking comfortably better than Cash has at any point this season. If we can keep it up in the second half, regardless of result, discipline and team work then this could be something to build on.
