He and Bednarek both looked like last minute panic buys to me
yep
Players that could not get into Wolves and Southampton teams.

Coady couldn't get in Wolves team but has improved Everton a lot. Granted a short cameo but considering the ease Bamford ran past him I wouldn't like to see Bednarek up against a quick forward. Eventually when we switch to 4231 Dendonker will become an option.
Coady was an ever present until very recently.

It’s just squad filling when we allready have or had players in those positions.
The philosophy of buying players that improve the team has been chucked out the window along with other ideas like youth development.
As long as his better than Marvelous he improves the team/ squad. If his not better than Marvelous its badder than bad.

Shit Gerrard signing.

Nothing like going early, the important thing is you have him about 25 mins.

Thought Bednarek did pretty well overall, but getting badly outpaced by Bamford set off some alarm bells.

I watched him play for Wolves quite a few times and he was pretty shit.

I always thought he was pretty good for Wolves. Point is judging him as a “shit signing” already is bonkers.

I thought they were both pretty unispiring.  The type of players we're usually trying to get off the wage bill with no success, not signing up on 4 year deals.

Bednarek is just a loan isn't he?

Cuts out all that unnecessary middle ground and hope.

He has a very peculiar gait.

That's the type of passing-remark a female friend says when she's swiping through profiles on Bumble.
