He was shouting for joy all night about escaping from Wolverhampton.

That’s how he hurt his throat.

Welcome Clive!

I saw this and it took about an hour for it to sink in why you were calling him Clive!

Yes, because of course leg amputation is the only sufficient reason for potentially missing a game.

Unless he needs a tracheostomy I expect him to be playing a game of football with a bad throat.

Perhaps it's the start of Covid. Has anyone elaborated further on the 'throat issue'?

going forward a double pivot with 2 from dendoncker, Kamara and Luiz seems the best idea for me, then Ramsey or McGinn in front of them and getting into the box. I'm happy for Nakamba to be the 4th option in the defensive role and Sanson to be given a chance in front as well but that means Gerrard has to take the hit to his ego and admit he was wrong to marginalise them both.

It took me a minute or two to get it. Its marvellous and I shall be using his new name at every opportunity.

No, they've been asked to keep it quiet.

All things considered this is a good move, a player with the kind of skill set we're well short of, with pedigree and experience in the league we operate for a relatively modest fee.

I was looking forward to seeing my mate Dendonker play

Bringing that physical presence that we’ve been crying out for, adding that bite in midfield that we’ve craved for years,
Doubling up with Kamara to create that Unbreachable double pivot man wall, that Aggressive hard man midfielder that will finally turn our fortunes around and is apparently exactly what we need

But he’s got a sore throat, oh well never mind

Sore throat stuff aside John you seem quite anti this signing. Genuine question where do you see the issue?

and at 27 young enough to be with us for 2-3 seasons and still be possible to sell for profit.

Out with a bad throat. Only at Villa could a new signing be out with a bad throat

He hasn't even got to move house, he should be able to settle in easy enough.

Just made me think though, who was the last player signed from one of our nearest and dearest? Chester from the bog-eyes?
