Dendoncker already a doubt for Saturday...its the Villa way.

Yes typical Villa, mind you we could probably play with the whole squad on the pitch and still lose.

To be honest I am struggling with my throat and might miss Saturdays game as well.....
Same here I have picked up a bit of strain from sleeping in this morning and doubtful for tomorrow. Gutted.

Has anyone made the "Continuous improvement" banner to hang in the Holte end for tomorrows game.

Would settle for even a sign of “Coutinhous improvement”, say a decent consolation goal like at Etihad in May.
Make up your minds people? I can do a banner or a sign but not both.

I'm going, but with the kind of enthusiasm I'd have for attending a wedding reception for a work colleague of my wife that I've never met.

You don’t even get a decent feed at the Villa ,  my choice is the wedding

That's a good point. I'll pick you up about 5 then.

Gerrard on Manchester City: “The plan will be to make it extremely hard for them and take them where they don’t want to go.

“We know we can hurt this team, so we’re really looking forward to the game.”

A plan! 3-0 down within 10 mins??

I’m coming back from holiday early to get to this game
Yes I’ve been on holiday all week that’s why I’ve had more time on here too Share my valuable insights and generally upset people

Torbay-Newport Pagnell- B6   is the itinerary
I’m telling the kids at least we’ll get to see Haaland play

I hate Man City and the modern football set up in general. By taking Grealish, it's like us lesser clubs are not allowed anything nice. Feudal system. And then they don't even use him in a way that suits or entertains anybody. In the 70s and 80s, maybe 90s, most of the top flight teams, however shit, had one or two players who would excite their fans. Now should we dare to own such a jewel, it is swiftly taken. On Saturday they will outclass us in every department of the field, two or three players deep.

I've probably woken up the wrong side of bed ....

1-0 Villa!

Aren't those the worst kind! I have been to two like that over the last two weekends and both times asked the question as we got in the car "So who are these people?" back came the glare and facial expression full of disdain.

They most certainly are. These days I get let off as long as I do something useful instead, which seems like a fair trade.
