The half time summary by Keown was bang on. Konsa, Mings and Emi all at sea for the goal.Keown making some great points about how our set up is totally playing into Arsenal's hands. Will Gerrard do something about it at half time? I fucking very much doubt it.

Reminiscent of Tim but dim formation in the FA cup final.
Same surrender of midfield same result same managerial ability.

It’s like a performance from our relegation season… but we actually have quite a number of very good players.
Fuck off Gerrard.

This is amazing truthful game. Before the game we were shit and they have been brilliant and that’s exactly how this game has gone on. No surprises no shocks. It’s fucking demoralising.

I know. Its almost like they have £200 million pumped in to them. We've sold our best player and practucly broke even since we had a decent result against them.

As long as we don't get hammered he shouldn't be judged against these now. The time for that was when we were close to them
We should absolutely be judged against them. They are in the same division as us aren’t they and the manager was happy to compare situations in his presser and before today's game.

Arsenal fans singing, "You're getting sacked in the morning!"
Why don't our fans join in?
devoid of hope?

Because he won’t be.

Thought we started ok. Don't see an absence of effort, bar Watkins, but complete lack of quality. I'd switch it up to 4231, maybe bring Iroegbunam and Archer on for Watkins and Ramsey. In that 433 we simply can't get turned on the ball in midfield.
Konsa has been very good, Mings and Kamara solid. McGinn trying very hard.
Your formation change makes sense.

I actually think the players are working hard and trying,

The thing is, we're that bit slower than Arsenal. Not just pace, but that touch slower reacting, that touch slower anticipating, releasing a pass, making a run, everywhere. And while they have good player in form, that slowness is coaching. Nothing seems instinctive with us.

In my opinion the league has 3 leagues within it now. We are mid way up the bottom one, they are mid way up the top one.

Buendia has looked liked the proverbial Under10 player up against the much bigger boys in the Under12's.
