I’m with you Dice, how are we only losing 1-0?? I really do fear for us against Citeh unless they put their reserve team out against us.

Now even Buendia has gone to shit.

Is it wrong that I don't mind us losing if Gerrard gets sacked right after ?

Think the players have given up on him - they always win in the end. It’s over.

Sitting pretty in 19th at the moment.

So there's still a hope of Europe?

Moved back up a place with the Spurs goal at least.

Genuinely wonder what it would take to sack Gerrard from owners at this point as we could easily be bottom by end of weekend.

Thought we started ok. Don't see an absence of effort, bar Watkins, but complete lack of quality. I'd switch it up to 4231, maybe bring Iroegbunam and Archer on for Watkins and Ramsey. In that 433 we simply can't get turned on the ball in midfield.

Konsa has been very good, Mings and Kamara solid. McGinn trying very hard.

I agree with this.

This is amazing truthful game. Before the game we were shit and they have been brilliant and that’s exactly how this game has gone on. No surprises no shocks. It’s fucking demoralising.

I know. Its almost like they have £200 million pumped in to them. We've sold our best player and practucly broke even since we had a decent result against them.

As long as we don't get hammered he shouldn't be judged against these now. The time for that was when we were close to them

There was a moment midway through that first half when Gerrard turns round to Critchley, moaning about the play. It looks to be clearly to say 'they're not doing what we're telling them' gesture. Getting his excuses in early.

Arsenal fans singing, "You're getting sacked in the morning!"
Why don't our fans join in?
devoid of hope?

10 games without a clean sheets. We're prancing about now, trying to get a couple cheap loans over the line and we aren't even looking at the area that's been a problem for I don't know 4 years

I'm nowhere near the action, yet I feel like I've been kicked around my back yard, rolling into a ball and defending constant blows for 45 long, agonising minutes.

Are we this bad or they faking it?

It isnt possible to throw this much money at a squad and keep getting worse and worse.

Three goals in last 20 minutes as Villa run out of “steam?” and fold
