I prefer it as it means we have enough midfielders in Kara and Luiz, who would be the first picks, to play it. You could bring a Ramsey or McGinn 8 style if you needed it to add more bodies to the middle too.

One of the main reasons it's on TV is because Sky are anticipating a cup upset, so let's not oblige.

However, even if some non-regulars 'take their chance' to impress, the chances are they still won't be starting on Sunday.

The last time I went up there (which may have been the last time we played them,  I'm not sure) we stood in a middle of a Siberian like snowstorm. It was absolutley freezing and we lost. Great days.

Oh,  1-3 to us. Them to score first,  we come back and win comfortably.

I'd go with the midfield diamond as it worked better against Everton and our unusual shape at Bournemouth and Palace needs binning.

My team:

Olsen

Guilbert
Chambers
Mings
Ludwig

Big Tim
Sanson
Luiz
Emi

Ings
Archer

Like this team, but don’t think Guilbert will start, think he’s a busted flush at Villa, i think it’ll be Cash or if he wants to rest him Young, rightly or wrongly.

I like the idea of us playing the double pivot (now i know what it is) regularly. If he goes with it tonight, maybe Tim and Nakamba with Luiz further forwards, depends whose likely to leave first, Nakamba or Sanson.

At risk of sounding like Wilma, have we sold out our allocation for this?

Yep, all 5268 (I think) of them.

He's got something against Sanson, I expect lardarse McGinn to start as usual.
I’ve got something against Sanson too, he isn’t good enough

You're judging on too small a sample size.
How much of a sample size would you give him??

A nervy 1-2 win which will do little to dispel the growing realisation that we have the wrong man in charge

I want all-out, no mercy, attack-attack-attack tonight. If we go out I shall be very unhappy and it will be a foul drive home.
