I fucking hate this system. Cash chugs down the wing and puts in a shit cross, they clear it easily and suddenly we have seven players wrong side of them ball. Rinse and repeat.

Ramsey and McGinn do offer enough protection or energy in the midfield..

Konsa being bullied

Has lost all confidence on the ball too, doesn't want it. Mings in fairness has been superb with and without ball so far.

This has all the hallmarks of another relegation battle.  Losing to Bournemouth and strugging against a poor Everton hardly fills me with hope for Gerrards claims of a top eight spot.

Even Fulham look a better side than us at the moment.

We are a poor team. Will definitely be in the bottom 6 this season.

Not an ounce of leadership out there. Hoof and hope. Midfield is a big problem. Sanson and Luiz might be a better fit alongside Bouba.

I have to say, I don't get the high standing Digne has in the game. Looks weak and ill disciplined to me.

Come on Villa. Ram my moaning back down my fucking throat.

Bold of us to not play a midfield.

We are just too slow to move the ball forward.
Palace move it at light speed compared to us.

Gerrard's tactics not unlike MON's except without the counter attack danger.

McGinn needs hooking.
Doug on.

Samson for Ramsay too maybe.

Not on the bench.

Balls.

Got to feel for Sanson. Can't even make the squad when players such as McGinn and the totally out of form 'he's one of us so that's ok' golden boy Ramsey are in the starting 11. There has to be some real bad blood behind the scenes for him to not even be on the bench, with some of the shite being dished up by this first choice 11.

It’s comical how invisible our midfield has been for ages. I think it starts with McGinn just having no presence at all. And he keeps retaining his place. And the fact we continue to whack it long meaning the ball continue to come back to our back four too easily and too often.
