Yeah Barrow and Crewe last two seasons.

Crewe was 2019/20 on our way to the final. Stoke at home 2020/21, bit of a debacle. But the next league game wasn't bad.
2nd Round
Crewe 1-6 Villa 2019
Burton 1-3 Villa 2020
Barrow 0-6 Villa 2021

Seem to always be drawn away. Is that a rule?

So we'll let Emi Martinez.carry on his celebrations with Argentina! Can sit that one out.
Olsen can keep goal as Sweden didn't even make world cup finals.

No, just luck of the draw I think.

Norwich at home please. Mainly because it will get that lot from the Two Stands Stadium worked up about missing a tie against us. Even if numbers are done alphabetically they are too dim to work that out so will still get worked up.

If we are in the North again we can't draw Norwich.

Barrow was the best away of the season. Somebody random like that again.

Villa Kids versus Liverpool Kids, third part of the lopsided Cup trilogy.

Which is weird as Norwich is North of Birmingham.

But it's easier to get to from the South. So it makes sense.

Walsall is also North of us but they are in the South section according to that one post. So who knows how they work out.

Maybe they want an even North-South split of both qualifiers and Premier League teams. Would rather they just got rid of all the regionalisation and left it completely open.

I'm assuming we are in the North seeing as we played Barrow last season. Can't remember us ever playing Morecambe, Hartlepool or Rochdale so them at home would be good.
I'd prefer Rochdale away, seeing as Spotland is 2 miles down the road from my house and we've not played them in the 40 years I've lived here !
