Completely unacceptable

Worse than Watford and two wins in 12.

At least last season we had excuses, lost the best player in a generation, are pre season consisted of a BBQ and we had injuries.

This was a text book pre- season.  He made a point of dropping Mings - who’s probably been our best defender of the last 10 years - and we ended up getting dicked by a team that will finish 20th

Hes nearly a year in and still doesn’t know his best team, best players or best formation.

He gets outwitted by managers that we would turn our nose up at.  Not good enough and must change quickly

Sadly it was what I expected, I just knew it would be a shit show, it’s so utterly predictable.

He keeps saying ‘it’s an area we need to improve’.
But he’s been saying after most games since he came here.

So, when’s he going to improve what needs improving?

I’m always rubbish at predicting the score but this was my contribution to the pre match thread.

“2-0 to Bournemouth. Risso to start the Gerrard out thread at 5:01.”

Even thought it was a joke I feel responsible somehow.

He just said they worked all week on defending set plays.

Jesus.

Credit to Gerrard for saving is from a 5-0 defeat then.

So where do you suggest we look for the positivity from today to counter the negativity?

It's finished now.

We didn't get anyone injured.

I didn't go.

I think that's about it.

It’s one match, let’s keep some perspective here. Everton up next, a winnable match if ever there was one.

We are only three points off the Champions League places.
We can still win the title with a record 111 points.
We won’t lose to Bournemouth away in the league again this season.
