When is the last time we had a full England international on the bench?

Do we really need 4 defenders on the bench? Heaven knows why Sanson is absent. A real quality player there

If you play Coutinho then you have to play Ings who apparently is in fine form.

Like the team, the bench ain't bad either. Come on you Villa boys!

Gerrard hinted at Mings possibly not starting, he said something along the lines of wanting to see the player that got into the England team and that player can get a start in this XI is something like that.

Sanson must have a move lined up then I take it?

Gerrard was saying he really impressed during pre season. But if Young is getting picked ahead of him....nice to see we have plenty of options at LB anyway!

Sanson just now on Instagram: "100 per cent fit and ready for the team... 😉."

Wonder which team?

We really don't have much luck with French signings do we?

Maybe Keinan, Sanson, Tim and Marv are being saved for our big friendly against Liverpool tomorrow  ::)

I think I'd have had KKH in for Young, and Sanson in for Chambers. We don't need two central defenders on the bench, and Sanson is the only other midfielder with any drive if we need it.

Coutinho undroppable

Well they haven’t played this season and in his last league game he scored a brilliant goal against the champions, so you know.

Swap Konsa for Mings, and that's my predicted side. Not that I shared it with anyone, so you'll just have to believe me.

Would have preferred Ollie to Ings, but there we are.

Score a hattrick now please!
