Ings over Watkins is a bit of a shocker. Almost as much as not seeing Ings and Watkins. Buendia after his knock vs Fulham on the bench isn't a massive surprise.

Interesting. Strongest bench we've named for quite some time. Really should be winning this.

Coutinho undroppable

are you suggesting Coutinho shouldn't be starting the first game of the season?

Strong starting 11, but the quality on the bench really demonstrates how this squad is taking shape.

Let's hope all the leadership in our team hasn't been left on the bench.

Would've preferred to see Buendia starting instead of Coutinho.

Interesting selection. Strong bench. On paper this team should do Bournemouth but as Fulham are proving newly promoted teams put in a huge amount of effort in the opening match.

Disappointing that Archer is the only kid on the bench, I'd really rather see KKH in the squad than Ashley Young.
