This doesn't concern drinking near *our* ground, but it's relevant if you ever want to drink on the way to Millwall, Palace, Fulham, Brentford or Chelsea (depending on where you start from).

I loathe knee-jerk anti-London nonsense. It's a wonderful city that I've loved spending much of my adult life living in. These pricks are slowly killing it.

"Podcast studio". Fuck off.

Exactly. Pricks.
Would it be churlish of me to hope that they fail miserably?

I hope it's a roaring success. If they're in there, they're nowhere near me.

Never have that much of a problem after the game. I get two pints when I first arrive, if you're a quick walker there shouldn't be much of queue. By the time I'm ready for a third pint the queue has usually thinned out.
We went to the Sacred Heart after the game. It was hotter than Hell.

Proof, if proof be needed, that the Lord is a Protestant.
That's one take on global warming I suppose

I’ll be sure to go there after a visit to that Shoreditch cereal café.

It will be a roaring success. There are enough wankers who live in Clapham alone to keep it going for half a century.

Edit: these are the same people who always order a complicated burger at any pub they visit. I hate them. They also will give unsolicited advice on which pubs (exclusively in the Clapham/Fulham areas) serve the best burgers in London. I hate them.

It’s like a Wetherspoons on steroids, full of pumped up pricks in white T-shirts, overly-tight trousers, no socks and slip on shoes.

Looking at the tweets in reply this caught my eye " I'd rather have a pint of Carling in the roughest flat roofed pub than endure this grim Disneyfication of our national pastime" Excellent stuff.

There was one on the link bit between Grand Central and The Bullring. That went on to be replaced by one of those cafe's that lets fucking cats roam free around the place. Great idea, any meal is greatly enhanced by some moggy licking it's bollocks in front of you or walking away with it's tail in the air, it's pencil sharpener on full display.

Not many places you can go to read a discussion about pre match pints and find yourself reading about cats arseholes.  Love it here.

I assumed "Cat's Arsehole" was the latest tipple that the real ale beardy weirdies were drinking.

Cats arsehole the new £8 a pint 7% craft beer served in the new chrome based bar…the Dogs Bollocks, laptops and airpods available in every dome based pod….talking shit to other punters and having a laugh about any old shit, absolutely frowned upon and will result in being barred if this gross violation of beardy coolness is consistently ignored.
Welcome to the world of gentrification

Utter pricks and actually unimaginative.

It looks like they've pinched a few ideas from a couple of recruitment videos from a decade ago for (self-proclaimed) cool design or tech companies.

Meanwhile they prop up their cashflow by discounting their beer in supermarkets - presumably whilst still giving a finger to 'the man'.

Allegedly, the 'Equity for Punks' scheme is a dressed up Ponzi Scheme so at some point it might all come crashing down - though sadly punters drawn into the myth will lose out.

My wife was given some meal vouchers for that place last year by one of her friends. Apparently the idea is that they are looking to re-home the cats so I guess that it is only likely to be people that are cat lovers that frequent the place. The vouchers are still unused.
