Called into the Manor Tavern for the first time in years. It was magic, nothing north of Carling, Brew XI on tap, and no Sky Sports. It was like being in  the King Edward in 1991.

We tried the Witton Arms on Saturday. Props to them for taking advantage of the fans losing the Holte Suite, but it was absolutely rammed with massive queues outside and, I wasn't a big fan of having to make a contactless payment of £3, just for the privilege of entry. One off for me.

A new place is going to open in Newtown round the back of the sorting office according to Birmingham Live:
