At least they haven't got 6 webbed fingers! (Oops, you're not from Wroxall). ;)

No, from Smethwick originally, fortunately my dad had been given the family brain cells hence I ended up supporting the right team. He was from Ward End and all his family are knuckledraggers. There used to be quite a few of the darkside living in Ventnor, but most of them did migrate to the inbred capital of the island. I wonder why ;) ;) ;)
I grew up in Washwood heath and Ward End, used to walk to VP every other Saturday!

Haven’t seen a Leeds fan all day. A few Villa fans and Peter Withe!  It’s the kids first game so we’re all very excited. The first Villa goal I saw live was scored by none other than Peter Withe so it’s great we could meet him.

There were 3 other Villa fans that I knew of and was talking to flying over from Christchurch this morning. Didn't see any Dirty Keeds fans and haven't seen any today in and around Brisbane.

The continent was there but not the entity ‘Australia.’

I never knew until the other day that New Zealand had no indigenous people. Archaeology has found nothing prior to Polynesian settlement in the 14th century.

which way did you walk ?
Down past Taronis on Aston Church road, or the long trek along the 11 route

(Kiwi here.) This is why NZer's flip out a bit when they visit Europe - our birds have been around so long they forgot how to fly, but people haven't. Oral history and some evidence has it possible a bit earlier, though the 'big' (ie. important) wave was probably no earlier than as you mentioned.

Either way those Polynesian sailors were mad f*ckers and/or crazy skilled.... sailing across the pacific just following stars and currents.

That's because it's like Scotland, but far away

Dad used to tell the story that he used to get the the bus to VP from Bromford Road in the tears after the war and there would usually be a couple of the players on the bus. Different times.

It's how stereotypical Germans in World War Two films say "The Land".
