Read that Hannah is likely off as her contract is up and we are looking for a replacement.

That’s a shame, she’s actually a good keeper

And she's only 22. I can't see her being let go easily.

Looking at the team squad selection, Rachel Daly is listed as chosen as a forward.

Her contract is up in a month and she hasn't signed a new one, not much we can do as she holds the cards.

I realise that, I'm hoping we're not out of the discussion.

Two more leaving as their contracts expire. Elisha N'Dow and Sian Rogers, respectively captain and goalkeeper in the promotion-winning side and who played their part in us avoiding slipping straight back down are being let go after both spending the season on loan at Charlton.

I liked Elisha, when I used to take my daughter she was her favourite player and I told her when I met her through one of the coaches, she always made a fuss of my kid with pics and words of encouragement.

Good luck gal.

Oh and re Hannah Hampton, the article Id read suggested we had pretty much resigned ourselves that she’d be moving on.

Kenza Dali signed a new contract. Great news, that is.

It would seem that the club are happy to see her go ...... there are obviously problems behind the scenes with her

There were all those shenanigans when she was dropped by England and the Villa with that undisclosed condition /issue last season. I wonder what happened there?

I don't know, didn't Carla Ward have to backtrack as to why she wasn't in a squad? And when she wasn't picked for an England squad the media suggested that was it for her under Wiegman, but she's now got back in there too.

Very strange.

Not sure thats the case, she seemed to have been made a contract offer but turned it down.

Players get left out of squads and dropped for myriad reasons. Just because she wasn't spotted hobbling around on crutches doesn't "obviously" mean she's a wrong 'un. She's going to be very difficult to replace, I'd be very surprised if I learnt anybody at the club was happy to see her going.

There was lots of strange comments from both Ward and Wiegman at the time though.

Wiegman on why she wasn't in the squad at the time.
Quote
she has some personal issues that she has to solve so for her at this moment it’s better for her to stay at her club

Ward leaving her at home when the rest of the team travelled to Chelsea. Hampton travelling to Chelsea under her home steam, then posting on social media from the stands to publicly show she was there. After that match Ward stated.

Quote
Hannah was available. Something happened yesterday, and we decided it was in the best interests of the team for her to stay at home so I did exactly that. That’s all I really want to say on the matter.
I made the decision in the best interests of the team to leave her home and I left her home. I would probably prefer to talk about the 11 who were here.

Then she was pictured having her unspecified operation.

Since then she has been called up by both managers obviously so whatever had been going on was cleared up. Although has she gone to Chelsea to replace 32yo Berger or just be an understudy.
