Was going to take something monumentally stupid from us for them to score. Both Buendia and Chucky have been guilty of giving away stupid free kicks already.

It might liven the game up. Despite all the possession, we haven't really looked like breaking down their back 5. Both our full backs have been disappointing in attacking areas. Chucky hasn't offered anything, Watkins lost aswell. Likely sub there with Ings coming in for Chucky.

Luiz, Chambers and McGinn our best three for me.

Sunday League move from Buendia.  Can't have any complaints though, they've been the better side and look more dangerous.

Couldn't care less if there's nothing riding in this for us.  We've been garbage.

WTF?  You're on teh wind up.  They've been utterly non existent as an attacking force.  We have been underwhelming from a clear chance creation perspective.  But we haven't been garbage and they have not been in the game.  And the bloke who scored should be in prison.

Buendia should be starting btw.

I think we're better with him in the side.

I don't agree.

Not sure what game you've been watching but Burnley haven't been the better side.

Indeed that’s nonsense, but we got sloppy and lazy as the half went on.

thought we were good for the first half hour - lost our way a bit after that

pently was stupid - but then the elbow was just as blatent.

They have been well organised - but I think when teams let us play - we struggle.  I still have a nagging thought that is because were too narrow agaisnt a back 3

Maybe Ings would be better watkins - who hasnt been in the game

I thought chuck was ok - looked a little nervous - and took the safe option, but dont think hes been that bad

Would be really disapointing if we losed but they are pretty nervous, but hopefully a reaction in the second half

Potentially unpopular opinion.

Chukwuemeka looks out of his depth.

I get the feeling (completely unsubstantiated, obvs) that this is exactly why SG has started him today. You think you’re too good fo sign a new contract?
At the cost of the team result?

Yep.

I can't see the hunger in Chucky.

I don't think it's a lack of hunger, it looks more as though he isn't moving in intelligent ways to create space from his position. Looks a bit lost in this left channel

Yep, and also lacking a bit of hunger, which is a real surprise in a young player getting his start

Fair enough, I missed the sarcasm there. Even if he's not creating much, or giving away penalties, I just think he's fun to watch. On a good day, he's the one making things happen though.

Get Chukwuemeka off, he's half a second too slow and fucking up midfield for us. Meanwhile, Watkins is doing the same up front.

If we really care about winning this match, he can't send us back out like this.
