A draw for me. Our home form is unconvincing.

SG needs to win this otherwise finishing 14th would not be acceptable.

Or what really?  Its not going to change any pre season plans or next season.
Want us to finish the season well, its almost last chance saloon for them so they will go for it. An early couple of goals for us.
2-0 (Watkins, McGinn).

Win would be nice to push us up the table a bit

Think signing PC will do more for the summer momentum then our finishing place - but would be good to finish as high as possible.  As I guess a low finish would put a little bit more pressure on the management team if we make a poor start

All that said, I have been reasonably impressed with the last 5 games - think we look tougher to beat, even when havent played well so I thin the progress is there

Win, but don't overdo it... We need to keep enough in the tank for that injury time equaliser on Sunday! 😉

No what really. It's about this season  and after all the investment we made 14th would be a very disappointing end.

Hammer them and dedicate the win to Wesley in the post match comments.

Last season should of been 5-0 instead ElGhazi (remember him) decided to wear the box his boots came in rather than the boots and we missed around 15 chances.

Punish them for stealing our colours, being shit, crippling Wesley but most of all because that odious knob Alistair Campbell supports them.

Ings to actually find his boots and score again - if not then i fear it could be his final game

3-0

PS

Dave W - be nothing but gracious please in your build up piece (fingers crossed thingy)

2-0 (Watkins, McGinn).

The difference between 14th and 11th is about £6.5m in premier league prize money.  That might not sound like much, but for context, Cazoo give us about £10m a year to be our main shirt sponsor.  That's £6.5m that can go straight into our transfer fund, or it could be an extra £30k a week in wages towards someone signed on a 4-year deal - just by finishing 3 places higher over the next week.

I'll be massively pissed off if we take our foot off the gas and show signs of being on the beach.  These results matter.

They do matter to be fair but Sawaris is so rich he could probably use a £6.5m note to wipe his arse with. Wouldn’t worry too much about that side of things.
