I know nothing about FV bar being a poster on H&V.  I don't know why he should be afforded more leeway to talk a load of old toot on here than anyone else. One moment he's complimenting a proposed line up minus Buendia and then post match he's telling us he's an essential starter.  I think he needs to take stock on the way he graces us with his pearls of wisdom. That's all.

He/she is posting here to express themselves. A really good thing about the internet is that anyone from anywhere can join in about their favourite topic. Unless the post is actually offensive, scroll on.

I don't have a horse in this race, I don't really care one way or the other but playing devil's advocate, doesn't that argument also cover people who reply to him and pick at his argument?

I thought that McNeill looked decent, but was surprised to see his stats this season are truly dreadful.

Weren't we linked with him?

We were. Totally switched off for our 2nd as well. Wasn't impressed with him today, but then they were shocking to a man.

We were, for a ridiculous fee too. I think his stats certainly suffered under Dyche this season, but after he left he's had an extended run in the side with more freedom.

I think we were. I've always thought he looks shockingly 1 footed.

Looks to me the sort of limited player who Martin O'Neill would almost certainly have spent £10m on.

I think things have been said/discussed in the past about some posters but honestly it’s still like open season on them.

Excellent away performance against a side we’ve struggled to get results against.

• Thought Chambers physicality made a difference in the midfield and he did a good job.
• Ings had a great first half before fading.
• Burnley fans booing Martinez’s time wasting was a bit rich.
• Konsa had more than one sleepy moment.
• Luiz is still taking some set pieces which needs to be banned.
• Emi B (sounds like some 90’s DJ) was excellent.

Special word for the referee who seemed to be acting upon instruction to clamp down on any tackling from Villa with a purpose. Maybe the north London massive have got in the ears of the PGMOL. 3 Villa players booked for tackling with a purpose, none of whom actually committed a foul. Also Buendia catching their keeper out from distance on a free kick. Anyone else think there’s a debate on the ref disallowing that?

Really good result against a revived team.  Impressed with SG in the last 3 games after being critical of him before

Great work by all - and some players seem to be coming into form

3 points and the three attackers scoring.

Shame about the goal conceded. But I’d have snapped your arm off for that result and performance before hand
