Tables looking a lot better. I thought Watkins had a good game personally. Buendia looked really sharp as he has done in his last few performances, I’d really like to see him get some more game time.
A wins a win, and another clean sheet - only saw bits of it as I’m away but didn’t really looked troubled Norwich we’re rubbish but hopefully we have started to play back into form and the league table looks much better. We’ll done to SG for giving Tim a start Feel sorry for Dean - wouldn’t be surprised if he brings them back stronger though

Imagine just what Emiliano Buendia could do if he played for the full 90 minutes. He created three chances, one of which lead to a goal, in added time alone!
Only at the Villa could we have an established England player in a winning England side getting pelters from Villa fans.

As I said in the Match thread, as we're stuck with him until at least the end of the season, we need to play to his strengths as we continue to look pretty toothless up front. We all love his workrate, it's his poor technique that lets him down.

Agreed. Summed up by that brilliant bit of skill by Coutinho in the first half, with a 50 yard pass to put Watkins in yards of space, only for him to shoot tamely imto the side netting.

The missing one from win’s just turned up in the wrong place later on.
Hi workmate is faultless and I do like him but how many times can one player drill his shot straight into a defenders legs before he learns?
