OptaJoe
@OptaJoe
7 - Hugo Lloris made seven saves in the opening 45 minutes against Aston Villa; since Opta have this data available (from 2006-07), it's the most by a Tottenham goalkeeper in the first half of any Premier League match.

Add a top CB with a top striker and top CM and we are a good team

Couldn't you say that about most average teams?!

Only three players not like a massive rebuild.

Id expect a CM and Watkins needs to go

Danny Ings is Tony Cascarino with tattoos isn't he?
Pretty good in the air, quite a bit of effort but the overwhelming suspicion that he couldn't hit a barn door most of the time.

Just tuning in. Watched the first half and we need to be so much more clinical. Our lack of a good finishing Centre Forward is costing us so dearly.

This is just bizarre there is no way they  are 2-0 better to than us

Mid-table teams make silly mistakes and get punished for them.  All the endeavour in the world matters not a jot if you don't put your chances away and then make dumb errors at the back.  Spurs have made fewer errors, which makes it all the more galling that we have in fact, beaten ourselves, again.

Spurs are far more incisive - we have the ball and just plod around. What does McGinn have to do to not be selected? He needs a kick up the arse.

Harry Kane is quality but my God, Konsa has been really, really poor today. Five yards off him for that header.  Batter the ****** when you get the opportunity, not stand off him.

Our level at the moment is utterly unacceptable.
