We are still only 12 points clear of trouble.
Yes but there’s  a fair bit of absolute rubbish in those 12 points so I’m not worried in the slightest

Bookies reckon we're reasonably safe, you can get 250-1 for us to go down.

I’m always pessimistic about us, but I’m looking up the table, not down

Another 20 points from our remaining games wouldn't be unreasonable would it?  Especially now we seem to be getting a run of form.

It would be solid European qualification form to get 20 points from the last 12 games, and we have to play Liverpool and Man City again, so it would be pretty good going to get that many - but it would certainly put us in a brilliant position going into next season, however, I don't think we quite have that consistency... yet.

20 points from here in would also put us on 26 points from the last 14 games of the season, which would be the equivalent of 70 points over a season and champions league qualification in most years.

I was thinking 1.5 points a game from here as a best case scenario. But then again I'm an eternal pessimist.

If anyone's genuinely worried you can get 500/1 on us going down with Paddy Power. I'll be keeping my money in my pocket

Bookies reckon we're reasonably safe, you can get 250-1 for us to go down.

So the odds on us going down have tumbled in a hour.  NOW I'm worried!

TelfordVilla and Wilma must have piled on when they saw the odds at PP.

Bit harsh. I expect top 10. Anything less and the manager must go.

If we finished 11th, he won't be going anywhere. Sorry to disapoint you.

You are absolutely deluded if you think or believe that.

Judging by his previous posts, it's because Gerrard isn't Dean Smith.

Looking at the teams at the bottom and their remaining games I reckon 18th will end up with 34-35 points so we're almost there already, in my opinion.
