Changes you say Stevìe? 🤷‍♂️

Line-up suggests he's leaning more towards things being hunky dory.

Well let’s hope whatever was said during the week to Luiz and McGinn and the team overall starts to sink in. We all saw, and manager acknowledged it wasn’t remotely good enough last week. Today needs to be 180 from that. Or Gerrard will start to see a dip in confidence from the fans if this poor run continues.

Could have played Chambers at defensive midfield with Hause in at centre half. To not try anything different to the same old usual failures is frankly spineless

I get the frustration but I think it is decent management, basically saying to SJM/Luiz that you got us into this mess, you get us out.  This is your last chance.

Once they’re dropped they can’t put things right.

That’s my take on this.

SG has said that maybe he made the original comment about making various changes when he was still upset immediately after the last game. Having looked at things and knowing that the team he has picked has got some picking in the bank due to what they had done previously.

1 win in 7. They have zero credit in the bank

Not that they deserve another chance or should really have to have one, but the players that were well below par against Newcastle need to really put on a performance today and im guessing that's what Gerrard has said to them.

VAR rules out penalty for Villa. Clinton Morrison says it wasn't a pen.
