9 Bournemouth Lions driving up for this. 4.30 start!. Our record up there is not great.

That's a 12 hour round drive! I doff my cap to you all.

All this talk about Ings being a proven striker and our best striker and he hasn't really impressed me.

Hes had chances as well and hes fluffed quite a lot of them.

I hope he shuts me right up, but I have the feeling that it will be another game where he goes missing.

I think this is right. Watkins has been getting a lot of criticism in recent weeks on H&V, but for me both our strikers are simply very low on confidence and need a goal. The difference is one of them is all about pressing from the front and the other is a fox in the box.
I can see why posters are calling for Ings, but part of me thinks Ollies pressing will force mistakes from their dodgy centre backs. And his running will open up space for Ramsey and Brazilian Phil.

That's a fair point and based on recent showings the case indeed.  However there is a bit of pedigree there and hoping his experience tells at some point. Certainly him starting doesn't guarantee but he scored Vs these lot at Villa park and like Buendia who has settled at some time hopeful Ings is firing.  Hasn't made enough of an impact and I think injuries, systems and manager changes haven't totally helped if he's starting he needs the right support around him and quality service otherwise could well as you say be missing.
Hope you can enjoy the match and we look for a positive result. Fair issue on Ings thus far.
Up the Villa

Ings does press and works hard for the team but his biggest assets are goal scoring. He is tireless in his effort from what I've seen over his time at Southampton and at times here seen him cover down to right back and left back!  I think systems used and role he plays has not totally been of strength but I think he's someone who does a lot of good off the ball work and has footy intelligent off the ball.  I could see Coutinho feeding him handsomely and Digne service too for that matter.
I certainly don't mind Watkins wide forward  and Ings central.

Agreed. In fact I'm shocked at how poor he's been.

How about trying to get to Newcastle without stopping and then have an all day breakfast on deep-fried stottie?  The calorific value will see you through the next 48 hours and make you realise why the city's Freeman Hospital is a leader in cardiology.

Quite worried about this one. Chambers is the natural right footed replcement for Konsa, but I'd stick Hause in there to deal with Wood (*and stop Wood breaking his duck!).
Also, if Buendia is out, I'd go:

            Martinez
Cash   Hause   Mings   Digne
            Chambers
McGinn   Sanson   Ramsey
            Coutinho
                Ings

Surely we won't change our system for bloody Newcastle.

                  Martinez
Cash.   Chambers.      Mings.      Digne

McGinn.       Luiz.         Ramsey

Buendia (Watkins) Watkins (Ings)   Coutinho

Is my guess

I hope he has worked out the Ollie Ings combination does not work.

Yep same here. If Buendia is out, I’d play Ramsey there with Sanson in midfield.

I really, really hope that he doesn't play Watkins and Ings if Bunedia is out. It didn't work under Smith, and it hasn't worked under Gerrard. It just doesn't work, end of story.

I'd go:

Martinez
Cash Hause Mings Digne
Sanson McGinn Luiz
Coutinho Ramsey
Ings
