Da Wiki says that Indy returned after the MLS season finished in November.

I doubt that he was eligible to play for Villa again until the current transfer window, but maybe we'll see him in some U23 games now.

I'd forgotten how young he is. Not 21 until next month

Caleb Chukwuemeka only managed 45 minutes for Livingston before getting hooked.

And they were winning at the time, so either he got a knock, or was not very good at all in the first 45 mins.

Not very good according to their manager. Talk of needing to adapt to Scottish football and understanding how he wants him to play.

I think that's slightly unfair, the comments were about him needing to be tougher. The main reason he's on loan is to learn how physical senior football will be (he is a bit ahead having played 6 months ni league 2 but the SPL is a big step up from that) so I doubt it's been a surprise to him or the club that he found it difficult. He's a big lad, I think he'll adapt pretty quickly.

Mungo Bridge at Annecy FC in France.
They're pushing for promotion from Championnat National (3rd tier in France), but he doesn't seem to be getting many minutes at all - only looks to have made 2 appearances

Caleb was bullied at times by Stourbridge so I’m not surprised it may take a while in the SPL.
I’m not holding my breath on this one but would be great if he steps up.

Goal for Davis. Well taken, albeit shambolic defending.

Get in Davis, he’s done well there so far.

Well, I’ve just eaten the peak of my hat and I must say it tasted delicious. Makes such a change from Gerrard related humble pie.

He's quite popular with the fans (I have a couple of Forest-supporting mates), but he's played in four games and they've won all of them, so the whole team is popular with the fans right now.

If he carries on like this to the end of the season and gets himself 5 or 6 goals, he'll have done well and will have more than a few suitors wanting to take him.  If he can push on and get 8 or 9 goals he could demand quite a reasonable fee I would imagine.

It would be great to see Forest come up. And if KD contributes to it, scores a few in the process, then a permanent move would be a brilliant way for that story to end. And a new chapter for him to begin.

No chance they'll get promoted. They're doomed to the Championship forever.

I've a feeling he's going to be off at the end of the season almost regardless of how he does.

I reckon we've got room in the squad for about 3 strikers.  Any more than that, they won't really play.  Any fewer and you're leaving yourself without cover if an injury crisis hits.  You've also got to take it that Gerrard's job depends on him getting us in to Europe - whether that's this season, next season, or the season after that.

Watkins, to me, is nailed on in that group of 3.  There's no way we're selling him in the next 18 months.  So there's 1 place gone, 2 left.  You'd have to ask yourself, if you were trying to qualify for Europe - would you go in with Danny Ings & a hypothetical 15-goal-a-season-in-the-Championship striker?  I'm going to say "no", you'd want someone who was better than both of those players - to get rid of the Championship-level striker from the team and push Danny Ings down to 3rd choice.  You just don't want a player who's "good in the Championship" playing any number of games for you.

Unless Keinan shows the sort of form that'd mark him out as a 20-25 goal a season (in the Championship) striker, I can't see him having a place at Villa.  Even then, I'm not sure you'd want him as anything other than 3rd choice - a player you'd maybe play/bring on in the cups or against relegation-threatened sides.

Agreed, it would be ideal if Fulham and 2 of Forest, Blackburn and QPR get promoted. Wouldn't mind too much if Boro came up either as it would be vindication for Chris Wilder that it's not just at Sheffield Utd. that he can do it.
