Even ex-alumni Barry Banana netted for Wednesday,

Alumnus. You ought to have a basic grasp of Latin if you're working in Currys.

Or Spanish if you're trying to recruit Villans in Oaxaca.

My manager's fiancé is a big Villa fan. She was telling me in the office yesterday that Vikesh (her fella) recognised Steer in MacDonalds last week in Kings Cross. He approached him and asked if he was Jed Steer, the Villa goalkeeper. The guy replied, "Nah, a lot of people say I look like him but it's not me" and turned away.

Vikesh went back to his missus, and started muttering about him.  Apparently "He never swears but he even called him a prick! He showed me a photo of him on his phone and it was definitely the same guy".

Can't imagine many Maccy D customers have heard of Jed, fewer still given him a second thought. So wind ya neck in* Jed and be nice to a fan who recognises you (*unless you had some mental health things going on).

My brother in law used to teach one of his kids when at Norwich and always said he was a lovely chap.

Do wonder if that's a thing, though.  People mistaking random strangers as Villa's 2nd choice keepers:

"'Scuse me mate, are you Lee Butler?"
"You're the tenth person to ask me that today - no, I'm not Lee Butler, I just look a bit like him"
"Oh bloody hell, and the day I thought I saw Adam Rachel down the Aldi as well and it turned out not to be him"

Blimey, we signed him from Norwich when he was 21, if his kids were already in school her must have started pretty young!

Keinan Davis vs Philogene-Bidace today with Forest at home to Stoke.

I'll take 5-5 with a hat-trick and two assists each.

KD and JPB both in the starting line up in the game between Forest and Stoke. A good one to watch.

Just spotted this. I've given my head a shake.  He actually taught Bryan Gunn's kid. Not sure if it the lad who's following his father as a keeper.  As I Norwich fan I think all he said about Steer was that he was decent.  Damn you memories. Sorry.
