As Risso says, why on earth would you drink from that bottle? Daft move.

You値l never get away with chucking anything onto the field, you値l either get dobbed in or the CCTV will get you.

Really daft move. Hopefully he痴 realised that now.

There's been increasing disorder at games over the last period with more arrests than previous years even accounting for Covid.

I get as pent up and vocal as anyone during games but the idea of throwing something if the opposition celebrate in front of me is completely absurd. Or of wanting a scrap before or after a game.

Hopefully this is a blip.

Fans spend 90 minutes calling players wankers and the second a player gives them a little wink or a smirk they lose their shit. Grown men throwing coins at people, what an embarrassment.

Still trying to get my head around the commentators suggesting it was all the fault of our players for daring to celebrate.

Of course it was. We were the big bads who spoiled the party and Big Duncs return. I'm sure the press hadn't been bigging up Gerards first return to Everton as a manager, Digne's return and how Dunc would be instilling fight and erm bottle into the team and get them on winning ways.

It is the same reason when our fans invade the pitch after a big win, it is the return of the darkest times. If other fans do it, it is the magic of the cup.

Victim-blaming, pure and simple. Where exactly in an away game are the players supposed to celebrate?

Should the Premier League mandate a solemn handshake in the centre circle, while VAR checks for a reason to disallow the goal. Then two minutes later, the players can nod at each other like vague acquaintances might do in a Yorkshire pub, a quick slap on the back and back to work chaps.

I'd rather drink a Scouser's piss than Lucozade.

I'd say there's a reasonable chance he did.

maybe that sums up a rather entitled major of the British population by the looks of things.

There is a very substantial cult in India who believe the drinking of urine to be physically and morally efficacious.  An Indian Prime Minister was one such IIRC.  Probably better for you than Lucozade.  And cheaper.

There are some questionable porn sites that believe the same.

I liked calling Deeney a wanker at VP, then found it fairly amusing when he gave a bit back after scoring, then even more amusing chanting "Deeney, what's the score" at the end. Then at full time he acknowledged us (I think), we all had a little chuckle and went to the pub for a pint.

That痴 it, he was trying to brush it off with some humour but obviously his brain didn稚 act quick enough to it maybe being piss, Covid germs or just rancid lucozade.
