Gladys Street End is nutjob territory. A good mate is an Evertonian and he just texted me to say he'd never go in there.

There was a lighter on the pitch as well I think.

Aren't they supposed to take the lids off bottles so simpletons can't throw them at players?

Despicable behaviour from Everton fans.

One fan to be fair, but need to be made an example of

Great header. Impressive first half. Front foot. Aggressive.

Scum fans throwing items onto the pitch. ******.

Funny goal, it's a tremendous header by Emi but Pickford has to get some credit for steering the thing so expertly past Townsend.

there was a red lighter.

Strange how you can take a bottle top into a football ground these days but you can take a lighter.

Yay! Buendia has been threatening to score with a header all season, finally he gets one.

We've been the better team, without actually being good. We've had a look now, they are crap, let's step it up 2nd half and smash em.

They haven't created a chance, but that just means they're set up to somehow get an accidental goal and ruin our good work, so we need to press it home.

Best attacker on the pitch scores. It has been full blooded and congested up to that point. Very tough game for Coutinho to come in to given he has been away for so long and it showed.

We look to have the better quality in the final third but we need to keep our concentration. McGinn and Cash very good. Mings great defensively but loose moments in possession.

Commentary has been poor. The bang on about 2 similar teams battling. We have been by far the better. Emi has barely seen the ball and the defence has been in control. They are too interested in making Everton appear better than they are because of the ‘big Dunc’ effect.

There were at least two objects on the pitch including a lighter.

Make them play their next game behind closed doors.

I’m sure if that had happened at Villa Park there would have been references made about dark days returning.
