Olly, ings doesn’t work.  We need a DCM.  We have good spells and don’t score, but let in too easily.  we don’t seem to pass to each other without someone fucking it up.

No leadership apart from EMI and Mings

It’s been the same all season.  This has to be one of the most frustrating seasons ever we consistently seem to be less then the sum of our parts.

Not sure if it’s because we have an unbalanced squad - but we seem to be doing everything right as a club apart from on the pitch.

Big half and a big couple of games coming up otherwise we’ll be looking at a really disappointing season and bug question marks

I'm 37. I cannot believe that Danny Ings isn't at least 20 years older than me. Very very tough paper round.

Too many players who aren’t good enough. Ings, Watkins, Luiz, this includes you.

Konsa could barely walk and looked in agony - strange they kept him on.

I looked at that, and where the lad caught him, and my mind immediately when back to the Grealish tackle that caught him on the kidney that kept him out for months.

Sanson has been good to be fair to him. Ramsey has struggled and Luiz has been anonymous.

Buendia is getting better each match, I hope he and Coutinho get to play together.

From the first minute we sat off them rather than press which surprised me-and prob them. That gave them the initiative and they haven't looked back. We need to press high, especially with two up front and grow a pair! Work harder Villa..

I'm going to take some hope from the fact that as the half went on, we got to grips with the game and started creating things.  The first 30 minutes were garbage, yes, United played with far more width than on Monday night, but still, the performance was SO much worse than where we left off at Old Trafford.

Both Ramsey and Luiz have been poor. And for Christ sake Gerrard both Watkins and Ings together does not and will not work ever.

Talk of physicality in midfield is misplaced. Matic is a big boy but he's hardly Vieira, while Fred is...well, he just is. We also outnumber them three-to-two. Our problem isn't, as some people always seem to think it must be, some sort of BIG STRENGTH BATTLE - our problem is we're giving the ball away for no reason at all way too often.

Pre-season was a mess and it just carried over into the season. We have been very frustrating. Very sort of passive, playing shite for periods. Urgh.

It looked so innocuous at the time. I don't really trust Mings without Konsa on the pitch. I don't really trust him with Konsa on it either.

Looks like Konsa will not be coming back.
