When will this club shake the inferiority complex not just against this lot but against many sides. We never ever seem to start fast. So often we barely get out of our own half.

Clutching at straws - but did the ball travel the minimum required distance (is there a minimum distance?) from the free kick before Fernandes played it?

I put it down to the bad karma from the 1957 FA cup final.

Surely we've paid off that after 65 unsuccessful attempts to win it since.

Ragnarok is a smart coach though. He's probably taken what he saw from us on Monday, figured we'll set up the same way, and drilled a counter to it.

Another one where we need to hope we get to HT at 0-1. Fucking hell.

Way we are playing, we are making this piss poor Manure team look like world beaters. Still think most of our problem is that we just don’t press enough and, when we have possession of the ball, we’re far too slow to get it up the pitch.

For me we let them have too much room and possession in the first 5 minutes.  No urgency when we didn't have possession amd weaky surrendering the ball when we did

Gerrard has gone with 'I'll bamboozle him with Ings and Watkins.'

That's the third time we've just booted it straight out. Embarrassing stuff there.

15% possession.

Is it that much? Room for optimism then as I thought it was lower.
