He wasn't helped last night by the fact that several of his team mates, playing in front of him, decided they couldn't be arsed to put in a shift.

For the Pedro goal nobody ran back with him !

And why I found blaming him for the second goal a bit rich, it was their RB and I am pretty sure it was not his job to track the runs of Pedro when Lamal was playing right wing.

Yep, even if he didn't give that penalty away, I don't think France would have won.

His brain-fart changed the game though, Spain hadn't threatened at all beforehand.

Seems like Bouba has wished him well on social media so imagine it is done.

He's been an excellent player for us.  We have struggled for top fullbacks over the years and he's one of the best I've seen for us. Bit gutted he's going, but don't begrudge him the move.

33 today so to get decent money and his wages gone is a bonus, don’t think were it not PSG he would going either. Fabulous player for us, will be missed as much as the other 2.

Been a very reliable player and won't be easy to replace with a better player. Maatsen isn't the answer.

Yes, he seemed keen to stay throughout the rumours of him being sold due to his wages. The story, if true, about wanting his kids to go to a French school probably have something to do with it, too.

Surely he could get his kids to watch re-runs of Only Fools and Horses to pick up the French phrases of Del Boy?

Very decent player who got better under Unai. Will be a weakness to exploit when we play them due to diminishing pace. Good wages off the books. Solid player, liked him. Good look Lucas.
