I was quite pleased with myself for coming up with it. Pity I wasn't thorough enough before posting. ::)

Was it Pepe Reina? I have a notion he was back up to Casillas in 2010.
Ah, I think that's it, had forgotten him. Well done Hillbilly.

Great kit & badge.

So had I! Well done indeed. Although that's not the answer I was looking for, it's certainly correct. More research needed next time. KevinGage actually came up with the answer I had in mind very quickly. It was Ricardo Villa, for the late John Robson's testimonial back in October 78.

"...PSG fans are calling for the deal for the Aston Villa man to be called off."

"Info.fr report that messages have been piling up since Tuesday evening on X. Most are calling for the deal taking him to PSG to called off."

He has had a good world cup until the SF but then most players would stuggle against Yamal when he is on form. I expect we might have similar twats if Martinez helps knock England out.

Yep, even if he didn't give that penalty away, I don't think France would have won.

I'm glad France produced that performance in the semi rather than the final.

I really want Estupinian in to replace him so hoping they're not dissuaded by last nights horror show. 4 years younger, likely lower wages, different physical profile and already an Emery soldier. Really solid bit of business these two moves would be for reducing the average age and freshening us up, IMO.

Digne has had poor games before. They won't be dissuaded after one more having, presumably, done many hours of research into him before approaching his agent.

Yeah and joking aside he's been incredibly solid for us at a high level for 3 years straight. Think the deal would work for all parties, and he leaves as part of a trophy-winning team.

He wasn't helped last night by the fact that several of his team mates, playing in front of him, decided they couldn't be arsed to put in a shift.
