Everything points to Lucas Digne heading to PSG — he’s highly appreciated by Luis Enrique & the deal is on an excellent track. The operation is estimated at less than €10m.
@AbdellahBoulma

Chuck us Mbaye for £2m and you can have Luca for 9.

Fcuk me operation less than 10m - I mean I know they go private but that is still steep.

At least he'll still be our first world cup winner if he hasn't signed by Sunday.
First?

Meant to add outfield player...honest.

🔴🔵 Lucas Digne to Paris Saint-Germain, here we go! Verbal agreement done with the French left back.

PSG already informed Aston Villa: they will pay the release clause after the World Cup, fee under €10m. 🇫🇷

Digne accepted role as Nuno Mendes’ backup at PSG. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

I see Luca as Mr reliable, rarely has a poor game, I  hope we can sell Maatsen as well because he is nowhere near the quality of Digne.

PSG finalising a move to sign Lucas Digne from #AVFC. Deal worth less than £10m due to 32yo's release clause. Ian Maatsen seen as long-term LB successor, with Villa now in talks to sign Pervis Estupinan from AC Milan as Digne's replacement.

He's a very good player but we will miss Lucas' leadership.

Nice one, so he will be a Villa player if France lift it. Fair play.

When Digne first arrived, I didn't rate him, but over the years he has proven himself to be a solid, consistent performer and a sound guy, to the extent that he became one of my favourite players. Thanks for helping us to win our 1st trophy in 30 years. Good luck at PSG and in your future career. Hopefully the Villa fans who make it to Salzburg can give Digne a rousing send off. UTV! Another one! UTV!

yep good luck to him. He was born close to Paris so he gets to go home to end his career at the best club in Europe. Hard to deny him that.

We seem to be losing some of our most reliable players and getting fairly paltry amounts for them.

Not quite sure how we're going to replace them. Olabe had better have some amazing bargains lined up.

Probably way wide of the mark, but I wonder if Digne going to PSG could pave a way for Mbaye coming the other way?
