When he leaves he'll play on until 40 or so in Serie A. You don't realize what you've got until it's gone sometimes.

Like Ashley Young? Nah, he'll be back in Brest or somewhere closer to home.

He was absolutely  dreadful  yesterday  and that tackle was horrible tbh
Not great I agree but no worse than the one he was on the receiving end of at Tottenham with no retribution for the defender or the snidey one by Miley that put teilemans out for a couple of months.

I can't remember the challenge by Riley on Youri but if you say it was a snidey one, I see absolutely nothing wrong With Digne's challenge other than he failed to break Riley's leg.

Miley was the player who caught Tielemans and he was out injured himself on Saturday. It was Jacob Murphy who Digne clattered into.

As Digne said, 'whoops!' or Elvis 'accidents will happen'. More seriously, as it wasn't Riley, it was a shocking, reckless challenge that should have seen a red card.

Been a good player for the club but tume to depart in summer.hopefully we can get a good offer in for him.

I remember the Scottish Cafu doing something similar against the Tesco's and he didn't do too badly afterwards for us. Couple of dodgy games and suddenly he's finished at VP - don't provide Grist to O'Learys mill.

The fall-off has been rapid.  Even earlier this season he was playing great.

I just think that some players are better when they play consistently, he just isn't getting that chance. It was similar when we first bought him I think?

We dropped a division in the interim for Cafu to show his worth!

Thought Lucas's tackle was low but then rode up to the ankle.

Probably a yellow for me.

An impetuous, ill-timed challenge that sums up Lucas's recent poor form.

It's over for Digne at this level.

Very surprised Maatsen was left out for Digne tonight but I still think he’s got something to offer. He just shouldn’t be first choice anymore.

Agreed, I don’t think he’s finished at all, just that Maatsen is currently the better option, he provides a welcome bit of speed down the left and generally links up well with the player in front of him.

Maatsen the only player we have who has any pace or bursts of speed. He’s a very positive player and shouldn’t be left out of the side while we have no McGinn or Tielemans.
