Maybe age is catching up, maybe it's as simple as he's just having a couple of bad games. Happens to every player.

I think he goes in the summer. We were linked with that Truffert last season who went to Bournemouth. Shame we didn't sell Digne last summer and sign him.

He goes in the summer regardless. He still has some value and would be a welcome bench option for most teams.

I'm not going to get too much on his back for the past two games. For me, it's comparable to Newcastle signing Trippier. He came in, helped us get where we are and was part of the best Villa side I've ever seen.

Was excellent isn’t so against decent opposition nor is he even okay. Great player for us but his time is up. Such is football.

He had a shocker yesterday. Maybe this is the reaction to Maatsen becoming first choice, levels drop and maybe the age thing starts to catch up with you.

Not sure what has happened to him.
After last weeks abhoration and tonight’s performance, something has fucked him up.

His legs have gone is what's happened, it only has to be half a second short and it knocks everything out of sync.

He’s probably gone downhill because he’s not playing. Either that or he’s not playing because he’s gone downhill.

Out of nowhere our full backs have become a major problem. Bogarde can not be trusted to play there and he offers very little going forward and Lucas Digne has become a liability overnight. His defending was appalling last week for Bournemouths goal and he had a 'mare yesterday. Should of been sent off in the first half and he should of gave away a penalty but for a bizarre piece of officiating. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say we need two new full backs.

I’ve long been a fan of Maatsen and was keen to see him play more, especially last season, but that wasn’t a criticism of Digne. He’s been a brilliant signing and great team player.

He’s had a couple of poor games now, but I get why he’s being played and It’s only recently when we’ve really noticed the drop off between him and Maatsen is noticeable.

I’m sure this will be his last season with us.

Hes been poor in the last two games but overall, since Emery has been here anyway, he's been excellent. Let's not forget that.

His name is Luca,
He is gonna let you score.
He is not scared of you,
Just maybe not as young as before.

If you're a winger on the right,
Expect some trouble, expect a fight.
He's just not as good as he was
He's just not as good as he was
He's just not as good as he was

When he leaves he'll play on until 40 or so in Serie A. You don't realize what you've got until it's gone sometimes.
