Warrior today after getting clattered a few times and that touch and lay off to Beundia, pure and utter class.

Digne is a class act, and today he was superb, all the talk was about Kudos, but he got to grips with him after a couple of early scares. He has been terrorising defences this season, but McGinn and Digne got his number.
Then that’ll control and pass to Emi, amazing.

just a follow through, no big deal.  ???

when people in the match thread said he’d lost a step, I didn’t think they meant his leg. what a beast for playing through that and helping get the winner.

I think it's safe to guess why he was a little off his game for 5-10minutes after that. Horrible injury and I'm pretty surprised he played on.

I actually thought he was poor today by his own high standards.  That injury looks nasty.....hopefully good for next Sunday, as I assume Maatsen will play on Thursday anyway.

I thought he was poor, but utterly brilliant for his role in the goal.

For the people who aren't on X. That looks deep man, credit for him playing on.

Players need to get back to wearing these. I would go through a clog wearing pigeon with these on.

I had some blue Adidas ones like those that lasted about 20 years. Proper gear, I could clear anything and anyone with them.

The pads Is wore from about 9 - 12 were wider than my thighs.

He has that bit of needle about him that all good fullbacks have.

By his own high standards his delivery from out wide has been a bit off this season.

But sure that will come.

There's no surprise he was going apeshit at the 4th official then, having seen that injury.

I wonder if it'll keep him out. The opposition will know and he'll undoubtedly get a kick or two on it.
