Just listened to it, sounded a brutal fight with a finish to back it up

What a fight, and what a finish.

The ending was weird. Didn't look like he was knocked out with the punch as such, more that he collapsed and simply fell backwards out of the ring. Maybe he was totally out of gas and the right from Wood was enough. Hope he's okay and well done to both for a great fight.

If you look at it again Conlan was collapsing before the final punches. He was absolutely spent and I hope he's alright.

That's what I mean, it looked like he literally couldn't stand up any more before the punches rather than being knocked out. As long as he didn't fall awkwardly out of the ring you would assume he'd be okay, it's not like he was taking a beating that should have been stopped earlier.

It's reckoned that he hit his head on a seat, but reports also say he's conscious and stable in hospital.

Yeah, I still remember Benn-McLellan vividly and all these occasions where the fighters go down in weird ways is always worrying. Hope he's OK. You do feel he had that fight won and needlessly got into a war in the last couple of rounds, but obviously thought he had it in him to trade.

I've just seen a reverse angle and Conlan was hit by an almighty right hand before the final two punches that had him out of the ring.

Not sure if I'll be watching any boxing tonight, watching England beat Switzerland is probably enough excitement for one night!

What a performance from Josh Warrington - absolutely brilliant - well done in regaining his world title
