It's getting a bit too easy for Usyk.

I've got it 96-94 Usyk.

I haven't been watching, but following live text and it sounds a much better fight than the first.

Better from AJ tonight.

But Usyk is a freak. Has the waspish hand speed and movement of a bantomweight.

He is a great fighter. I don't think that's the end for AJ, but he'll need a couple of good wins to re-establish himself. Could fight Wilder, maybe?

I thinj AJ was a bit unlucky there, Usyk landed a lot of punches but nothing particularly hurtful whereas AJ landed a few really good shots that had Usyk hurt. By being mobile Usyk dodged around to get his legs back so AJ couldn't capitalise.

Good fight though.

Looks like AJ's corner were feeding him some questionable advice between rounds. Telling him he won the first three, for example. Maybe McCracken would've been more perceptive/honest?

Depends if he's still got the hunger.

It's odd, as one (justified) criticism of AJ in the early years was he faced handpicked plodders.

But if there's one matchup he should have swerved it's this one.

Better from AJ but split decision?  Not for me.  Usyk was the more mobile boxer and landed well where AJ sprayed quite a lot.  The better fighter won, sadly.  Good to see the Flag bearing afterwards in support of Ukraine.

Was Usyk mandatory, I can't remember?

This, surely it could've only been the British judge that gave it to AJ.

It was the American.

In that case, it was the American judge that was watching the wrong fight

Fuck me, surely someone should have turned off the microphone and told AJ he lost and to shut up. Usyk quite a bit ahead for me.
