Mine was the late 70’s/early 80’s white away shirt with the claret and blue striped collar and those wonderful claret & blue Umbro diamonds down the sleeves. Truly a thing of beauty which was worn by some of our finest players.

I brought a retro version last year, I bloody love it.

This was mine too. Then the Euro cup winning away shirt.

The classic late seventies/early eighties home kit that we had until 1982. Claret and blue shirt with blue socks. My first away/change kit was the short lived Le Coq Sportif 1983 shirt which was white with yellow hoops without a collar. Looking back it was a pretty crap kit but I thought having an away/change kit made me cooler than most. I also thought the mid nineties green, red and black Muller sponsored shirt was good at first. In hindsight I was wrong.

First kit was a knock off from Brownhills market, 94 home with no logo or badge.

My first proper kit was Christmas 95, the blue away kit with Milosevic 9 on the back and premier league badges.

I think I also had the grey goalkeeper shirt, must have cost my mom and dad a fortune and we didn’t have much money back then.

I think I had a Villa shirt then pretty much every season until about 2006/2007, the Nike one in MON’s first season.

Had the white away kits with Mita Copiers on from both 1989-90 & the following season and loved the later which was mostly white, with black arms and a blue trim.

Whether these were m
Mine or hand me downs from my brother though, I can't remember.

As ever, Mum chucked them away when our backs were turned.

I had a fake version of the classic 70’s Umbro kit. I did have the genuine Umbro tracksuit from that period too - blue jacket, claret trousers. Loved it.

I was lucky enough to go to Rotterdam and I got the European Cup final shirt to wear to the final when I read in the Sports Argus that we had lost the toss and were wearing our white away kit.

1971/72 bought from Harry Parkes. My mom put a home made number 7 on the back in homage to Ray Graydon. Ray subsequently gave me his autograph when I knocked on his door. True gent.
