Put me in mind of Palace away, we ceded a lot of ground 2nd half but never looked in too much danger.
JJ MOTM, just ahead of Doug 'cos of the goal. Norwich looked a shadow of the side that gave Newton Heath a game.

Norwich were toothless, Villa did more than enough to win the game.  To be honest some of the play was train pitch stuff, didn't need to get out of 2nd gear.

Dean Smith will need a miracle to avoid relegation.

We made hard work of killing off a pretty poor team. We will not face worse this season.
But I love the way we are trying to play.
Ramsey was the best player on the pitch.
Cash has got to do more with the positions he is getting into.

To be honest there are improvements all over the pitch.  Defenders have stopped hoofing, passing is quicker, game management now exists, and yes we suddenly have top class midfield players

We should be beating Norwich any season, any venue. Discounting a little bit of tension fearing a fluky equaliser, we totally dominated them and got that routine win. Gerrard really does seem to know what he's trying to do.
